Wikipedia obviously needs no introduction - you are on it right now! Please log in the following website:
What I want to mention is the special wiki created in our LAWS3035.This wiki was created by students of the Developing Computer Applications to Law course (Laws3035), semester 2-2007, at the University of New South Wales.
Aide is a small computer software application developed by our lecturer, Russell Allen, and is an example of a legal expert systems application. It will be used by the students in this class to develop a rulebase based on small sections of legislation.
The application involves creating a series of backward-chaining rules within the language allowed in the software syntax and structure. As Aide is still in prototype form, we have been warned that it is temperamental and may not always work!
Aide requires Java to run correctly, available from java.com.
The current version of aide is Class Release 3 (13 Oct 2007).
